Social Media & Marketing

Below are some of the Instagram and Facebook templates in use. Along with an advertisement video driving people to visit TimeBank’s website and become a member. Which I created by recording a voiceover on an animation on Adobe Express.

The wording included in these Facebook mock ups showcase the tone that TimeBank should be using moving forward.

An important takeaway from TimeBank’s current social media presence is that events should be advertised with more than 1 days notice, people lead busy lives and giving them the opporunity to plan to attend an event will lead to successful events.

Merchandise

Merchandise doesn’t seem suitable for TimeBank due to sustainability. Gathanga (2024) wrote that “More than half [of branded merchandise] is given away, and 23% is immediately thrown away.”

When mind mapping ideas for sustainable merchandise that relates to TimeBank, I considered having excess seeds from current TimeBanker’s home grown produce as a sellable product. This could possibly increase the harvest for future TimeBank catering events.

Another option for a more sustainable merchandise is to promote less waste by having branded re-useable bottles, this would spread the TimeBank message whilst hopefully reducing plastic waste.
